Armando Montelongo Real Estate Scam Review
81
First of all, I'm not going to mislead you, Armando Montelongo Seminars is not a scam.
However, I felt I would go through a review of why people might think it's a scam.
Also, I would like to mention that I've personally experienced the seminars and bus tour, but it just wasn't for me. I don't have the same type of passion for real estate as Armando Montelongo and others do. I thought real estate would be a good step for my future and a new career, however some things have come into my life which has prevented me from continuing real estate.
Here are a few reasons why people may think that his seminars are scams:
A) TV celebrity turned seminar guru. This can be a red flag to some. Though you gotta remember that Armando started in real estate, not TV. He was chosen to be on TV because he was so successful in real estate.
B) Some complaints online about not getting refunds. Yes I researched Armando before going to any of his seminars, just like anyone should do. However, be sure to look carefully at these complaints. If you're not going to sign up for his seminar because you're worried you might not get a refund, then why are you signing up for his seminar? Not to mention there are only about 20 complaints or so on the boards and most of them are from the same people over and over again. It's important to research, but make sure you're looking at the real facts, not just people who were hurt by not getting a refund that they probably weren't entitled to anyway. People will complain about anything, it's best to really evaluate if their review is of a sound mind or not.
C) Too good to be true. We're taught to reject anything that seems 'too good to be true' or anything that promises 'rags to riches'. But in this case, even though it may seem 'too good to be true', it's just not. It's real estate, it's flipping houses, something that has been around for decades. Armando simply has put together a system that he has put together through multiple 'gurus' and developed an easy to follow system that he does and the rest of us can do in our sleep.
D) Too expensive. How much did you pay for college? Or how much are you planning to pay for college? And how much will you be making when you get out of college/plan to get out of college? In most cases you pay far more for college then you do for an Armando Montelongo Seminar. Nothing comes for free. His seminars are an investment, and unlike college, you'll actually get your money back from your first house flip.
I'll include some websites in the links section that will hopefully help encourage you to get involved in his seminars and put your mind at ease. It's important to look at the positive. People love to be negative about any little thing that makes them angry. Research deeper and find out the truth.
This system is extremely easy and anyone can do it. If you're interested in real estate and investing, then you'll definitely want to be educated by Armando Montelongo.
Good luck.

This was really thorough. I hope people will take these things into consideration before judging!

The only thing I have to add to this, is that real estate investing is not for the week hearted. Its a very tough business that you have to create your own profit in. It doesnt just land in your lap just because you watch some videos and read some books. That being said, it is doable, very doable. I am a high school dropout, that has made alot of money in real estate investing. I will say, each transaction is unique and this is not a cookie cutter business. So, back to Armando and all those real estate gurus out there. The reason they go into business is not to help you, its to help and supplement their incomes of course. If you think they are doing it because they are gratefull, want to help and have suddenly become angels, I have an island I would like to sell you. Thats the whole thing in a nuthshell. Sure, they will teach you their techniques but, they are doing it because the real estate business is a tough, very, very stressfull way to earn a living and they figure with the money they have now, writing books, pamphets, purchasing 100 dvds for 20.00 and selling them for 200.00 or 900.00, paying for an infomercial, then having conferences and pushing their stuff is acutally easier than doing the real estate. Thats how tough and stressfull the investing business is, its a calculated gamble. I am currently looking to do more deals, I am willing to go over any deal you may have, do the math for you, even run any type of remodeling for you. I can tell you, every deal I put together was profitable. Its all about the numbers, the math is the bottom line, profit. If you cant figure it out back and forth, upside down and around, dont even try to touch it. Just email me if youre interested in speaking with me. I dont charge for consulting, I will charge a small percentage at the end of the deal once you receive you profit. Im in California, willing to work with anyone in any other state. Go ahead and email me, or take a look at my website and contact me through there....
The one commenting sounds like Arturo Montelago himself and comments are croonies. The poster tried to make comments that won't look like him. Arturo id a scammer and probably got himeself protected in every way so he doesnt have to give refunds and not get into trouble. Be careful with this man. I suggest anybody who got scammed should post here and do a Class Lawsuit Action about this guy and report him to the Feds. Watch how fast he will disappear
If you feel you got scamed don't bitch about call the Fbi There not playing with this any longer her is one more story of relistate fraud http://www.fbi.gov/miami/press-releases/2012/miami

It's unfortunate to see such horrible reviews on Armando when he's doing such great things.
